While doing research for this morning's dump, I was reminded that as a rule, Citroens make for excellent limousines. So, here's a bunch of them.
These next ones aren't technically limos, but god knows I love a Tissier conversion.
Obviously not a Citroen, but I came across it and I thought you should know.

All I can see is the Air France sign being off centre. How can they leave it like that?

It's the French, their entire country is off-center.

I just want to get on the next train to Paris. I can be there in eight hours for less than £100 (USD$159).

The ability to get to a world-class city in a different country for under 200 bucks. Not jealous of the taxes you pay for that privilege though.

If you're not too far from a European hub it's possible to go to most larger European cities for under $200 within 8 hours. It's partly a consequence of those higher taxes, as are the better roads, accessible proper health care and education and an economical safety net. I'd prefer to pay fewer taxes, but it isn't exactly all bad. It does have significant advantages as well.

Don't they look so fun?

Oh right. Yes. it's okay. Though I don't think our taxes in the U.K. are as high as many other countries.

Dat window. Yet our socialist head honchos had some decent taste, when it came to representative state cars.....Citröen CX and Volvo 264TE.

Yeah. I wonder how much one would cost today.

Nearly all Citroens look as though they were designed to be stretched. So beautiful.

Indeed, though it's probably worth mentioning that we tend to pay a decent bit more for public transport than a lot of other European countries, too.
Generally speaking, I'd rather pay more tax than sacrifice public services—though, of course, there is a balance there, and everyone has a different idea of what their tax ought to be spent on. Still, I think cheaper train and bus tickets would do the country a lot of good; I'm still annoyed that they privatised the railways.

We pay more for public transport which wouldn't be bad if it worked properly. Indeed. The trains should never of been privatised and all this rubbish with HS2 and HS3 (or HS2 phase 2) to cost billions of pounds just to get somewhere marginally faster. Lets get our current trains in order and stop the 'train replacement services' that are all over the place.
